Somewhere Outside The City is an Oxford-based theatre company. We are passionate about theatre which centralises queer narratives and have been using theatre as a space to prioritise and project marginalised voices, in particular those of female and LGBTQ+ characters, since our formation in late 2015. In a world which longs to pretend that inequality is no longer a problem, we want to make heard the voices currently silenced. We believe that theatre is inherently political and we want to use theatre to effect political and social change.
